Dr. Agis Digkas holds a PhD in geopolitical risk analysis and has extensive research activity on security and cooperation issues in Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. He teaches geopolitics, quantitative risk analysis, and environmental policy at the University of Athens, then National Technical University of Athens, and the School of National Security of the Hellenic Police Academy, while he is the author of two books on the respective subjects. At the same time, he has extensive experience in the energy sector, both in the public and private sector, especially in dealing with energy security and environmental policy issues
