Elena is the Global Head of Carbon Research at Wood Mackenzie, where she works with a growing team to help clients accelerate their energy transition journey. They provide clients with intelligence, thought leadership and data to support the best decision-making on emissions, decarbonization options, carbon markets, carbon prices and offsets.
Elena joined Wood Mackenzie in 2021 from the United Nations in New York, where she advised senior government officials from low-income countries on issues like carbon pricing. Previously, she was a senior economist for Palantir Economic Solutions and a senior advisor at Eni; in both roles she provided commercial, economic and strategic advisory to improve the value of economic opportunities in the oil and gas upstream.
