Ivo Wakounig currently pursues his Doctorate at Eindhoven University of Technology. In his research, Ivo tries to understand how policy can support the transformation of the North Sea from a fossil into a green energy hub, by building on system integration, offshore wind, and (offshore) hydrogen. With over four years of experience in the energy sector, Ivo has profound knowledge of policy dynamics and stakeholder engagement. Ivo is one of the Global Future Energy Leaders of World Energy Council where he contributes to stronger and more meaningful youth engagement in the energy transition.
