Oyako Kanyenze is a renowned renewable energy expert with 12 years’ experience in the field. He has dedicated his career to promoting sustainable energy solutions and reducing the carbon footprint. He has worked with various organizations and the most notable one is the founding of Aurora Energy where he currently is also the Business Development manager where he plays a key role in developing and implementing renewable energy projects.

Oyako has both expertise and passion in the renewable energy sector. He has contributed to numerous publications in the Energy and Power Insider Magazine and has presented at multiple conferences and events including the Solar and Storage Live   (The Future Energy Show) in Johannesburg where he shared his knowledge and insight on renewable energy.

 Oyako is committed to continued innovation and progress in the field, working towards a future powered by clean energy. He is a sought –after advisor in the renewable energy sector in Zimbabwe. Some notable achievements and projects include:

 

• He is part of the Challenge Based Learning Curriculum Development Working group with the University of Zimbabwe.
• Part of the Technical working group on the government’s Renewable Energy Policy draft.
• Expanding company presence and enhancing brand recognition for Aurora Energy.
• His leadership at Aurora Energy earned it a title of Solar Company of the year Distributor from the Solar Quarter at the Business Excellence Awards for two consecutive years.
